Building financial independence and entrepreneurship across Uganda.
Program Overview
Economic independence is the foundation of dignity. The Hajjat Mutagubya Foundation equips individuals — especially women and youth — with the skills, resources, and networks they need to build sustainable livelihoods.
Our Economic Empowerment Programme combines practical vocational training with access to microfinance, savings groups, and business mentorship — creating a holistic pathway from vulnerability to self-sufficiency.
We believe that when individuals are economically empowered, entire communities benefit. Stronger households mean stronger schools, healthier families, and more resilient communities.
"Economic independence is the foundation of dignity. We equip communities with the tools to build their own futures."
How We Work
We deliver practical vocational and entrepreneurship training that equips individuals with marketable skills and the confidence to pursue economic independence.
We link participants to microfinance opportunities, savings groups, and market networks — providing the financial tools and connections needed to launch and grow.
We provide ongoing mentorship and business development support to help entrepreneurs scale their ventures and create sustainable livelihoods for themselves and others.
Your support funds vocational training, microfinance access, and business mentorship that transform lives and strengthen communities.
